Nicely done! Good job on the cover. I'm impressed. As far as John being an American Idol, in a lot of ways, he was and still is. He may not have been American, but he has touched so many lives in all parts of the world. He's my idol, and i'm American. As a matter of fact, he is tattooed on my leg. That's love.

Quite right, John and the other Beatles were idolized here in America, from the screaming crowds of the Ed Sullivan Show to Candlestick Park and then of course the later albums and solo work, they were true American idols long before the current show.
