Mazenod College Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Victoria Aust. Comprising music students Years 8 to 12 performing "March to the Scaffold" (Arr; Anthony Carter) from Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz at the Annual Concert. Not a bad effort for a group of school kids in a reduced orchestra!

We played this song last year for a music festival, same Anthony Carter arrangement. Our clarinet soloist nailed her part, no squeaks like this, was awesome :) But one of our bassoons dropped out for a moment. Nerve-wracking. We played the repeat and the bassoon player got it the second time around and after listening to the recording it really didn't sound that bad, he was out for maybe a measure or two. I like how I can listen to this piece and remember my cello part :) Good times.
