hi i have a AV1HFCS and i noticed that the tone control and the roll control only affect the sound when they are set to 0 which is why i always have the tone and roll control at 1 so i can quickly change the sounds. I meat Trev himself but i forgot to ask him about the problem, so i was just wondering how do i make the roll control and the tone control change the tone when its not just on 0

@MeanGreenMovies hmm, should affect the tone slightly at all points on the roll, especially the tone control, although the single coil to humbucker change will be very subtle. Might be worth taking to a luthier for them to check over. let me know how you get on.

never mind my question about the roll controll, Ive just seen a mod website which baically showed me that I was way of.... I thought it was using a special blend pot but ive just found a diagram that does the same thing with a regular pot.. Sorry for using ur comment section as a vintage customer q and q department

hey dude i love Guns n Roses music- Slash guitar LP, i must choice to do is choice guitar for this slash music, i dont know what to chioce: Vintage V100 or Vintage AV1H what will better for slash msuic??

Personally, I think the AV1 is a bit more versatile than the V100, as well has having slightly better woods and hardware. Depends if you want to look like slash, or just sound like him lol.

Hi Gav, Is this version of the AV1 still avaliable? Ive never seen one for sale. Im guitarless at the mo, the VS6 neck was twisted so Its gone back and Im waiting for the replacement {{ DONT let that put you off buying vintage though PPL-- this is why products have warranties!When i phoned they said straight away to get the retailer to return it under the warranty.}} Hey Gav, if you guys in leeds mix the boxes up and send me a natural flame AV1H by mistake I wont moan, I promise LOLOL

Hi there Gav--loving my VS6, Ive had it 3 weeks now and slowly picking things up. Anyway I have a question about the av1 roll control. When the knob is in the middle are you getting 100% output from both split and bucker signals? My apologies if that is a really dumb question...
