  • I'm excited to see this film also! The novel was written far from my generation and I find it a hard read, but it is definately very interesting and captivating from an outsiders point of view.

  • @gdigger99 Thanks so much for the first comment for this video. I am very excited for this film and loved the book, huge fan, really hope you keep watching this channel and commenting its much appreciated, thanks, Tyrone

  • Fuck this, read the fucking book you ignorant assholes.

  • I was dreading the day they'd finally attempt to adapt a Kerouac novel, I don't think they're going to be able to pull it off, the thing which makes Kerouac so brilliant is his beautiful subtle description, he has a way with words which is so honest and sincere it really is beautiful and that's going to be close to impossible to translate to screen. Must say brilliant casting Viggo Mortensen as William S Burroughs and Garrett Hudland is a pretty good choice for Dean Moriarty.

  • @JCMIMPERSONATOR Sure, lets just ask Jack to oversee the production from his grave. I see the director getting a lot of good advice.

  • Bizarre casting...it's like they threw in Stewart and Hedlund to get that teeny bopper crowd. They seem oddly outclassed by the likes of Viggo, Riley, and Dunst.

  • @thembrown Sure if they get Marlon to do it and Jack to over see production that statement certainly holds water.

  • For all those blasting the film because they have read a book, wisen up; Kerouak himself pushed for this to be made into a film starring Marlin Brando but his agent buggered the deal.

  • Supposedly going to be released at Cannes, man

  • @SuperWarrenout because if teens reads it, the book becomes a bad book? get a life....

  • @hazrdzne you ever think some of us have read the book AND are excited to see the film?

  • If after this movie comes out Twihards are walking around with a copy of On the Road.... I'll have no choice but to set my book shelf on fire.

  • The fact that they are making a movie of On The Road makes me sick to my stomach. When I found out, it was all I could do to keep from vomiting all over my laptop. Why do they have to turn everything holy into an hour and a half long corporate money making machine?
