This is the ill-fated Off-Broadway production of Brecht and Weill's "Mahagonny" in 1970, with Barbara Harris and Estelle Parsons. Slated to be recorded on Atlantic Records (there is an ad in the program), the production was not successful and the recording not done. This is a live audience tape and good sound, but the performances are distant from what I can tell. "Mahagonny" has this extraordinary unity and energy and it's just not here, perhaps the fault of the director or conductor, but it is still Barbara Harris singing "Moon of Alabama" in what I think was her last NY stage performance so of interest for that if nothing else.
I have been looking for this forever. Thank you.

This production wasn't on Broadway. It was a big off-Broadway production in a theatre on Second Ave. I saw it, though I can remember little of it except there was a lot of use of TV monitors.

I've been desperately searching for even a hint of this production...thank you for showing it to me. My fondness for Barbara Harris, as well as Estelle Parsons, left me very curious about this production.
