Sunday Morning Coming Down (Cover)

This is a cover of a song that I really love. It was written by Kris Kristofferson and then later performed by Johnny Cash. However, I learned of the song and fell in love with it via the great Shawn Mullins. I find the lyrics to be some of the most honest and real that I have ever heard. I can't even count how many times I have walked down the sidewalk, smoking a cigarette pondering life and it's meaning while enjoying the simple bliss it has to offer, while yet still, feeling it's cold hard pain. I'm a friggin' fan! I love the orig. version of this song, but you took it to a different level. Never imagined it done like that. I've probably listened to your version at least once a night for the past two weeks. I know the feeling of a sunday morning coming down and the depression that can linger, Kris brought out the sorrow but you made the song cry. The voice manipulation is one that few can do and make it sound good and you nailed it.

That was awesome! I was thinking the same thing as stickynyki at first but after

a few seconds I really got into it. Your vocals remind me a lot of Darius Rucker

from Hootie And The Blowfish. If you take requests I would love to hear you sing
