  • this is the music from beauty and the best

  • yeah well, that sort of is the point, and it's also in the infobox.

I also made two videos with clips from Beauty and the Beast and with the score of the Little Mermaid and with these two I sort of reversed that idea ;)

  • Musical I believe, and he composed the score for Enchanted too right. But yeah it is to bad that they don't make animated movies like this anymore.

  • Alan Menken is an absolute genius for coming up with music like this.

  • can you tell me where i can download this song?

  • i love this song so much can you send this song for me is callonnec@myhome(.)no

  • Hey, this is a neat little vid, seeing the music transposed. I was all for it until Ariel slides down the pole to cry - sorry, I don't think the original music could have been any more perfect for that scene.

I think you did a great job of synching the music's climaxes to that of the movies though. The beast's dramatic transformation goes great with Ursula in sparks/sinking.

    Good job! :)

  • it gives it a different mood

  • I love Beauty and the Beast. The music is so sentimental and touching. It sounds wonderful with The Little Mermaid too.

  • Well, I hear they're going back to traditional animation, and their first traditional-animated film in ages will be out by late next year. ;)

  • Oh Alan...

Disney Doesn't make ANY traditionally animated films anymore.

To which medium does the Maestro Menken turn now?

  • they don't make disney movies like this anymore... makes me sad
