@NotHumanful Go to your local comic book store, and go through the back issues, grab some dollar comics! or if you're interested in reading them, i recommend purchasing some graphic novels!

O yea I love comics
I REALLY wanted to get started on a Batman comic book collection, and I wanted to start at the beginning. I did some research and found that the first comic Batman appeared in was Detective Comics issue 27. After further research, I found out that if I am EXTREMELY lucky I could buy one for more than one million dollars. Since I am in high school and have no job, I decided not to start at the beginning. I would still like to start a collection, but have no idea where to start. Any suggestions?

@damasta67420 Yeah those 1940's books are very very expensive. There are some newer batman series out right now you may want to look into. Go to the DC Comics website and look for the comic called BATMAN #1. It is a new series that came out a couple months ago.
