Anyone know why this place closed? That slide tower looks great. The closed park makes a cameo in the awesome new Troma film Father's Day!

Ah, memories. I remember the lifeguards at the top who said "Go!". Best moment was being halfway down the slide and hearing one of them say "Hey, wait! I didn't say go!"

I used to go here in the 1980s as a kid. It permanently closed late summer 2003, at the end of the season.

I can't believe nobody even said something sexual about this. You would expect something like " Yeah my girlfriend is also wet and wild when she goes on my ride ", especially considering this is YOUTUBE... Oh well. :P
