I would say the big change is on "There is no such thing, It is the bloody business which informs thus to mine eyes." (I didn't write it in pentameter, forgive me.)

Before that there still seems to be equivocation, but after that he is resolved to the horror of the deed.

That's fair enough. Have you ever seen Richard Burton's Hamlet? On film it comes across as mannered but by all accounts it was electrifying when seen live. I don't know, I was younger then and probably looking for a fight. I wouldn't have bothered insulting Ian McKellan's acting today even though I'm still not a big fan.

mega jealous! How old were you?

I do draw draw comfort though from the fact that in another thirty years when the he will be sadly unlikely to still be with us and certainly not acting, i will be will be able to say to young sheakespeare fans that i saw the great man's King Lear in 2007!
