December from the album 'Fallout From the War'.

~Lyrics~

Darkened shroud of morning
Simplified in face and stature
Blessing in the storming
Sweetness of a subtle feature
Alone and safe inside
Without worry, with out knowing who's
Been cast aside
Twisted down, escape to rest

I will writhe in my December

These crafted understandings
Smother citadel defending
Miss a motive is cast together
Comfort, effort in the end
Alone and safe inside
Without worry
Who's been kept alive
Without knowing

I will writhe in my December

Learned, learned I love the air here
And I learned, learned I love the roar in my ears
I satiate this urge of mine; I substitute the urge to hide
Alone, alone and safe inside

I will writhe in my December

  • Original is FAR better. This guy's voice is weak compared to Jonah's.

  • @disgracelanduk wait... who was the original artist again?

  • This bums me out a ton..... I love Shadows Fall, but this is a horrid cover of one of the most under rated bands.

  • @kobrakai36 Only Living Witness...

  • interesting cover...

  • The voice is a mess, sorry to say. But I like the production and the idea of backing growls...though they have been done really bad.

Thumbs up for paying tribute to the most underrated band ever.

    RIP Eric

  • @turbolorax only living witness (the original composers), composed it before beautiful people came out, but it stands a good chance marilyn manson took influence from it.

  • I like that they paid homage to OLW and I think they did the song justice. I don't like the crispness and "slick" feel of the production, which I think speaks to the reason I dismiss the relatively modern metal / metalcore / whatever genre.
