wonder why they don't use a drouge/sea ancore off the stren thats what we used to do for sailboats that lost rudders all the time.

That was also a good option, but were making a speed of >7 knots, so why risking leakage through mainshaftseals, anyhow tow already safely delivered, Brgds oceanwindrider
