BELT OR PULLEY?
-
you are correct about the bearings just being cold mine does the same thing...dont worry about it..

them cold starts are ruff on a motor what i do with my truck the first start of the day is i hold the gas to the floor then turn it over for just a sec it wont crank like that but what it does is prime the engine to get the oil to the top of the motor to help on the dry start....but on that noise if thats the only time it does that i would not even bother with it unless its get worse...not a prob man...

It was actually the exhaust. The manifold gasket was blown and it was warped. Had to get a new gasket and got the manifold machined. This was done last year, just forgot to post.

it might just be the moisture getting on the belt but im not 100% sure if i was u i would not be two worried about it if it goes away when it warms up the its not that serious of a problem cars do run crappy in the cold i have a 06 dakota that starts like crap in the cold

after it warms up does it go away
dodgedakota1 3 years ago
Yes. I'm kinda thinking the grease in one of the bearings is cold and it's not turning as it normally would.
