Ron Paul Revolution March - FBI Presence?

While I was getting a drink at the Capitol watering hole, just outside the lawn. I noticed a man talking on his cell phone who appeared to be a plainly-dressed FBI agent. I'm making no claims as to the validity of this, simply a speculation.

If he was FBI, and spying on people, he wouldn't have been carrying a bag with the FBI crest on it.

Hey Nick, that's an interesting observation. However, I have a feeling that if FBI agents were actually spying on people at the event they wouldn't wear "FBI gear". Seems a bit strange you would think that? Lot's of people buy that stuff around DC. I saw about a dozen teenagers wearing FBI sweatshirts walking around the white house last winter. Not for a second did I think there were a bunch of agents following me as I took a tour of the the city!

It's great that you're sharing your thoughts with us. As a matter of fact I was speculating the very same idea with a good friend of mine who was at the march. I used to live in DC, so I know all too well of the shirts, bags, and hats you can buy as souvenirs just about anywhere. The main reason why I ask if any others had similar experiences to mine was to discern whether or not there was something worthy of suspicion. Thank you for our thoughts utube22.

I was there, I saw DHS helicopters flying around taking pics, saw 1 man getting semi-arrested? for leaving his backpack on the lawn,saw motorcycles riding around the white house lawn. Cameras are all over DC anyway. I went to the 4-15-2008 Tax Protest That day they did have officers clothed in black on the steps of the white house with guns pointed at the crowd and on the roof

It wouldn't apply in that case. If he was directly questioning or trying to detain citizens he would have to identify himself. If he's just observing then he doesn't.

This was in D.C., right? He probably bought an FBI bag off of one of the dozens of street vendors that sell them.

I saw a shorter gentleman, probably 5'8 or so, who was built like a tank, probably over 200 lbs, all muscle, definite gym type. The revolution marchers were mostly in-shape, but lanky, not 'roid-heads.

He was wearing or carrying NO protest materials, light blue t-shirt, heavy-tinted aviator sunglasses, and shorts, and was wandering through the crowd only occasionally glancing at the speaker - almost always looking at the crowd.

If he wasn't some sort of cop, I'll eat my shoe.

I saw one agent that stood out. Poorly disguised as a journalist/photographer with a fake beer belly. When I noticed his fake belly I simply stared at him for several minutes, until he left my view. He was quick to notice me watching him and it made his behavior change a bit.

Of course there were undercover goons in there. Who would expect anything less?
