Nanorobotics is the technology of creating machines or robots at or close to the microscopic scale of a nanometre (10-9 metres). More specifically, nanorobotics refers to the still largely hypothetical nanotechnology engineering discipline of designing and building nanorobots. Nanorobots (nanobots, nanoids, nanites or nanonites) would be typically devices ranging in size from 0.1-10 micrometers and constructed of nanoscale or molecular components. As no artificial non-biological nanorobots have yet been created, they remain a hypothetical concept

  • U are watching too much stuff. Medical Nanobots are impossible due to it's size and changed laws of physics in the nanoscale.

    Get back to reality.

  • @kongo99 I disagree I believe it to be possible specially in the realm of science I believe it is you that need to study more

  • I am studing nanotechology, and belive me belief have nothing to do with reality.

And you belive in everything futurologist are saying. Medical nanobots are fiction.

Besides you have absolutely no idea about stuff you are talking about.

  • @kongo99 In the realm of science anything is possible many times scientists have said certain things are not possible their usually proven wrong.

When it comes to nanotechnology just because some scientists can't figure it out doesn't mean someone else will emerge with the knowledge to manufacture them.

I find it entertaining that you constantly like to say I don't know what I'm talking about. You're showing the signs of someone who has a close and arrogant mind avoid walking down that path

  • @4DaBigTime Well first of all it is impossible due to changed laws of physics at the nanoscale as i told earlier. And even though nanoids would be too complex, and would extend beyond nanometric scale up to microns very quickly (they would not be able to fit into many small places inside human body). Also I am saying constantly that you have no idea what you are talking about because you are showing the most common public view of what nanotech is. Nanobots are marginal problem of nanotechnology.

  • @kongo99 So would you agree that we can have machine small enough to unclog human arteries let's not look in terms of the smallest scale possible more on the realm of possibility on a feasible scale

  • @kongo99 You're kidding right? Nano-engineering is my major at UCSD. Its the newest masters/bachelor program at the university. Impossible my ass, do some research before you claim to know the laws of physics, or anything about nano-scale. Search smallest motor ( made from a few atoms) .

  • @4DaBigTime

Engineers in the field Nano-electronics, including myself, has been primarily focus on using the preexisting properties of materials at the nano-scale. An interesting fact about materials at that scale is that the functionality that we seek may actually be present on the surface area of the material it self. Other studies include the use of carbon nano-structures for quantum computing and piezoelectric material for generators. @4DaBigTime You are absulutelly correct.

  • I agree with everything this guy says. In my opinion people need to wake the fuck up in this world. Subscribe to my channel also for lots of educational videos as well as 4dabigtime. Learn somthing worth learning .

  • wonderfull possibilitys nano size for the mega money

  • @marcuelcajon hes just a kid trying to be a smart ass =P

  • Dr. Bruce Donald at Duke University has built one pf the world's smallest robot.

Theres info on it over the net. They look like tiny flags but its a good beginning.

There also has been break through in MEMS technology. Some amazing mechanical devices they have made.

  • @kongo99

The Technion Israel institute have already created a robot that can travel through human blood vessels. Its called "Vi-Rob".

  • @kongo99

Nanobots would not need to be smaller than blood cells.
