I loved this tutorial. It really helps when you show how you make something and then demonstrate. I guess that is why you call them tutorials-ha ha. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great project! Quick question though...I thought alcohol inks were made for slick surfaces like glossy paper and metal, so is it really necessary to sand the brad? I have really appreciated all of the videos and look forward to more of them.

Hi there! It's not necessary to sand the brad. I do it when I'm using multiple colors of alcohol inks because I find when working with a very, very small surface (like a brad) the colors don't take as well. I love the distressed look, so I sand the brad to "grunge" it up as well. :-) Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, your comments mean a ton! :-)

Do you use the sheets like for an overhead projector? I have some of those and they look sorta greyish

Yup, that's it! I use the same sheets. They are also known as transparencies. :-)

Thanks... it really helped seeing the process rather than just hearing about it, probably cuz I am a very visual person. Thanks again Arlene! -Joyce

You're welcome, Joyce! Glad you enjoyed the vid. :-) I may just do another one on how I made the corrugated chipboard ones... those were fun too! :-)
