I was surprised when Pete Carrol went to Seattle, because most of the GMs in the NFL
would rather he stayed at USC because of the good draft picks he coached.

I attended this game as a high school senior. Great game that featured a great goal-line stand. by USC.

I remember this game, for it was the last game of the first season that I began following the Buckeyes. I thought the Bucks were immortal after winning every game in 1979 and couldn't wait for them to beat USC and win the title.
