you realy need to retitle this video... it has nothing to do with Duane. Maybe you could say "inspired by" or something. Back off on the reverb too, the FLV conversion hurt your sound I think.

When I filmed this I probably had about a year and a half of decent slide playing behind me...I'm actually using a glass corcidin medicine bottle replica of the slide Duane usually used. On metal slides though, they work great for acoustic/ dobro stuff because they bring out that heavy grit you hear in older blues recordings. Stay tuned for more..eat a peach for peace

man great job i gotta know how do you get that good at the slide ive been playin guitar for a while and i love playin the allman brothers there my fav band but i can never play slide im decent at it but not nearly as good as you how do you get so good u just practice the slide like all the time??? great video man

thanks for the kind words...I can't really explain how I got to the point im at other than I have a nac for the slide and I always listened to eat a peach and live at fillmore east when I first started to play. If you put on one of those albums and have a guitar in hand, after a while of listening you'll pick up on the little nuances of duanes playing.

You kick ass! I've played guitar for many years and couldn't master the slide. Whole lotta feelin' in that slide. This one goes in my favorites.
