Mobile Technika and International System Research jointly released their FMC Enabler package, a support tool for IP phone solution.
The package offers fixed and mobile FMC (fixed mobile convergence) communication on a Windows Mobile smart phone.
With the implementation of this package, users can use both types of phones as an IP phone and as a mobile depending on the situation.
The PPPhone FMC Enabler package includes a soft phone or PPPhone for mobile IP telephony which meets the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standards, SIP standards, and a VoIP server which connects data networks with PSTN (which are Public Switched Telephone Network) ones.

  • I went to Vontrump.com & saw the Voip related products there really cool.

  • Nothing beats the human touch and a great receptionist! ,, People don't like machines! and if your business has high volume with the elderly then you need a receptionist. The Internet will not be free for long with phones much longer! trust me!

SIP is a fast moving application but most businesses need legacy equipment.

  • isr is a wack company

  • Our business is with fastmetrics managed voip now. It was a seamless migration from our standard pbx system. We kept our same phone numbers and the service is fully managed from the get-go. We saved $ with unlimited free calls to the us and canada and dirt cheap o/s rates. Smart phones too, with features like call attendant, which cuts out the need for a receptionist.

  • gadget overload, i think i will just stick to skype lol
