This was one of the Washington State Championship series rounds held during the fall at Hannegan. For me, this was one of those races I wish I could go back in time and redo it. I had a big lead, then crashed in the mud and threw it all away. When I crashed, I remember there was so much mud crammed around my grips and levers that I could barely pick the bike up. Then, when I got going again my gloves and grips were caked with mud. I felt like I was riding pretty good in the mud as well. It helped that I had just returned from the ISDE in Holland that was one of the muddiest in the event's history.
Nice work Scott. Looking good man.

Thanks, I had a bit of an advantage since it was a mud race. I just finished the opening night of the Thursday night series. I think I will be able to hit every round this season.
