I saw the movie fat sick and nearly dead and was inspired so I started juicing and lost weight I think it is the most excellent weight loss plan and is great for cleansing and detoxing Watch the movie and then go to their website at fatsickandnearlydead.com and sign up for the reboot and they will guide you a lot of people ask what I drink and its the mean green juice which consists of kale celery granny smith apples ginger cucumber and ginger and sometimes I add a carrot so far I lost over 35 pounds and still going and you can do it too the live cells in the fruit and vegetables give your body a boost to heal and correct itself its amazing

  • Did you experience EXTREME hunger? I tried fasting and only lasted 3 days....I don't understand how others can do it, yet I break on day 2 or 3? How do you deal with hunger?

  • @lopezjo Go to my new channel GFveganlife and check out the FAQ video. All my juicefast stuff is gonna be on that channel. I'm about to start a 60 day juicefast in a week or so. Frankly, I just did it. I just told myself that I was going to drink just juice for 30 days and did it with determination. Where there is a will, there is a way. I did it, and you can too! Try again!

  • what do you do with all the pulp after, isnt there alot of calories in it? Dont you get hungry like an hour after the juice?

  • @woo2fly21 I throw the pulp out. I don't eat anything during a fast. Once your body adjusts to only having juice (day 6 on...) you kind of start to feel like you can just survive on juice forever. The food addiction gets broken which is awesome. For more juicefast and post juicefast cooking stuff go to my new channel: GFveganlife. That's where I'm putting all my nutrition stuff from now on. This was a 30 day juice fast which is complete. I'm starting a 60 day real soon.

  • @lopezjo I don't know; it's strange. There's this invisible barrier that we get in the midst of on the 3rd to 5th day that is rather difficult to pass through. It's kind of hellish but if you're going through hell, KEEP GOING!!! Once we get past that barrier it all starts to come together in mind, body and spirit. Stick it out and you'll have a better understanding of this process. Blessings and best of luck to you. Giving you a hug of encouragement.

    I'm a total iggernoumus. I confess I have never used a juicer in my life. I gather since the apparatus extracts the juice and spits out the pulp you do not have to be fastidious in peeling the stuff before shoving it in. Is it a matter of the taste of the end result that determines whether or not you choose to peel the cukes or limes or oranges, etc?

  • Add some spirulina and 500mg of green tea and you're fat free in no time.

  • L-Glutamine is good for sugar/carb cravings while juicing...

  • @lopezjo Its ok, dont feel bad. I dont juice fast but i eat some eggs, maybe a sandwich a day, or a piece of chicken and still lost weight. To be specific, I weighted 205 pounds and in only one week i dropped 6 pounds eating some meat or bread once a day but I also went to the gym, walked or ran for a few minutes every day. I Today is my 18th day and I weight 188. thats like a pound per day give or take

  • i try to juice fast for 3 days and i feel very hungry,,because my field of work is on part that used more energy...maybe i will start over again..

  • @woo2fly21 you should freeze the pulp... once you break your fast, you can use the pulp to make raw vegan foods... wraps and cookies etc.

  • @woo2fly21 By the way calories are an ancient form of measuring energy. The method, discovered over 120 years ago, goes something like this: You take the food and put it in a box. Then you literally burn the food. The heat that rises is then measured by a thermometer. Basically it's water heat. But as you can imagine. things with less water create more heat. But the body doesn't "burn" food. It's much more complicated then that. :)
