auto desk is nice. i use it myself, but I also tend to use blender for my game making, modeling, texturing. Lastly with me making my own game engine in C++ i can write a python exporter in blender to export a model to my game engine. though i most likely stick with the .blend files or go with the trusted 3ds files or fbx file which blender can export to.
