The odd looking 1884 De Dion 'Steam Runabout' was sold to an unknown buyer in front of a packed Pennsylvania auction auction house.
The 127-year-old water powered tricycle quickly rose above its $500,000 starting bid.

The video doesn't even state that it "runs on water". It says oldest running car.
A quick google leads to it running on coal or coke.
AGAIN: water itself is NOT a source of energy !
