Video of the high lift unit of a Wildcat 200 Dakar race car. This unit enables the pilots to quickly clear the car of sand if it gets stuck in the dunes. The alternative is digging it out with shovels and then pushing sand ladders under the tires, which is very exhausting in the desert!
So the Wildcat isn't only very good sounding, it's also practical. Almost a family car, eh? ...

@ini88 you ll need a Bowler chassis which is way different when compared to a standard Defender.

Bloody cool idea. I Agree with pcx454. It needs more umph. It's perfect for getting stuck on dunes... I want one or something similar. Any idea who sells them ?

i think it would be better a pneumatic jack, electric motors didn't get well with... you know, a lot of sand
