Escada Anti-Fur Protest New York City 2-2-08

Continuing the global campaign against Escada for their continued sale of fur and fur trimmed items, activists in New York City raised their voices at the Fifth Avenue Escada store in anger over the slaughter of innocent life for "fasion."

Escada, when will you learn that making a profit off the suffering of animals is not a sound business plan?

A lot of people simply don't realize that it's not only the fur coats - but also the fur trim that kills millions of animals all over the world.

In Denmark alone more than 12 million mink are killed for their fur every year. The Danish fur farms have had a lot of bad press lately because of the horrendous conditions on the mink and fox farms.

PROTESTS ARE NECESSARY - and people protest all over the world.
