A big thanks to the guy who inspired me to play the guitar. Thanks Dan!

  • I play by ear - I cannot describe the chord structures - but I observed Dan six times in concert. "Hard To Say" is played in open D tuning. Once I figure out how to post a video I will present a cover in this open D form.

  • You may be right. I just kind of fake my way thru the songs I do. I look forward to seeing your video.

  • mAN.. i SWEAR YOUR MY CLONE...LET ME KNOW <I WILL SEND YOU MY PIC...

  • Nice playing. Love the duet with your son. He has such a nice voice and carries the tune well. Great job on the french too. Sounds like the two of you sing together often, and really enjoy it. Hope he's learning guitar too. So great to see Dan's music passed on. Would love to hear more. And thanks for showing your guitar work, that's really helpful.

  • His music: So wonderful & full of insight & vulnerability (which in the privacy of our interior worlds, allowed even well-defended & emotionally walled-off men such as myself not only to feel but also to express our tenderness). In a particular four-year period (undergraduate years), I can track passages, transitions, ups & downs, triumphs & heart-breaks, loves won & lost by certain Fogelberg songs & albums. (Beautiful quote borrowed from Shoshin Seishu).

  • really very nice ...and introducing your son to Dan is awesome.. wish I could get my own (3 girls)into Dan's wonderful music! You are a class act fellows!

  • Thanks. I'm not sure of the key, but drop the low E to a D. The chords are Asus4, D and Gm. Harmonics on the 7th & 12th frets. Good luck!

  • When are you making another one. I cant wait.

  • Wow you all are great. Brought tears to my eyes love ya jillypooh
