I heard a bit of idea of Islam and think its a good religion but always wonder why so many of the extremists that are from Islam.

@gngan Extremists are in every corner of the globe, they are not only from among the Muslims. but the media is focusing all the time on Muslim terrorists for reasons of their own, maybe or their governments to control some more oil or something. My advise is, look into Islam as a system, a way of life and do not judge the religion by its followers. Dont depend on the media in gathering information, but rather read Islam's authentic sources to get to know the truth.

@ServingIslamTeam You are right but it just seems that Muslim extremists are always covered by media. But it seems other extremists don't relate to any religion. I also have Muslim friends and I do like the idea of Islam because it's more 'logical' than other religion. It really sucks to have those Muslim extremlists and harm other good believers. May I ask if Islam promotes what other middle east countries practice? For instance,woman needs to cover up and they are disgrace and beaten to death?

@gngan I disagree. There are thousands of terrorists who bomb clinics every year in USA, burn Sikhs in India, attack mosques in Africa, etc in the name of various religions. The problem is that we don't hear this news. @gngan simple, it is because ISLAM is NOT the religion of piece, people like to hear beautiful quotes and listen to other people... If you read the Quran, you would say: 'what is that? Am I supposed to believe in that? Should I go and kill other people and beat my wife?'

@gngan The media focuses on Muslims the most because Muslims live where there is tons of oil. The media tries to make Muslims look bad by distorting the truth so they will have a reason to invade Muslim lands and steal resources. The majority of the things you see on TV is not a real view of the situation that occurs in Muslim countries.

@ServingIslamTeam I never knew there were lots of Filipino reverts in Hong Kong. I've always felt so alone and that I am betraying my roots when I was considering before to revert to Islam. I felt that there are just few or no Filipinos who want to revert to Islam but Alhamdulillah, there are a lot of them. Now I do not feel so alone. :)

Because they reject a signifance aspect of life and obvious reality that is exitence of God. I think you will agree that existence of God is very obvious. Or they ascribe equals to Allah in Worship, Lordship and Attributes.

If some died without receiving message of Islam then we they died on fitrah. Their case is different.
