@susanmurtha Thanks so very much for posting this great news. When I first heard the poor health rumor I was totally devastated. I've loved Eydie and her music since the age of 5 (almost 41 years now).

For anyone interested I wrote Steve and Eydies website and they wrote back and said
that Eydie is not in poor health and that the only thing wrong was she had minor surgery on her knee and refuses to get on a plane. I am so relieved that she is ok.!

This was one of the wildest Mystery Guest spots I've ever seen on this. From John's tripping his tongue over the intro to Edyie's joy at fooling Steve most of the time to the genuine falling down funny humor of the asides and ad-libs, this is a classic example of what made "What's My Line?" such an audience favorite for almost 18 years in primetime.
