You might want to avoid the backward neck stretch. It doesn't stretch the sternocleidomastoids, muscles in front of the neck. Also repetitive hyperextension of the neck can erode the cervical vertebrae and discs expecially when combined w/ rotation. Turning the alone will stretch the front of the neck.

What the hell? The only thing the last exercise will do is fuck your neck up; here's what you should do if you want to stretch your neck out..
If you want to really stretch your neck you have to put a bit of tension on it, just like with any stretch; so instead of just letting the weight of your head stretch your neck, which it won't if that's all your doing, put tension on it so you feel your neck being pulled.
