@Opalance he was an ok player, nothing great...now primorac on the other hand was a great player...on d other subject he has no competition here in the USA...so no wonder he hasnt lost...i mean i dont have anything against this guy but i feel his game is not strong enough to be a top player not even in his prime...
@kmml1972 GASP! You mean someone other than a top 10 player's game isn't as good as the top players in the world?!? No shit Sherlock. His finesse was the perfect other half to set up Primorac's offense in doubles, which made them an awesome team. Regardless he's a great singles player, even at 42 he's the best in the US easily. He hasn't lost a match in the US since 2006 and he's rated like a 100 points higher than the second best guy. So 15 years ago when he was in his prime he was pretty good.
@Opalance he won that medal years ago and it was on doubles i dont think he got silver on singles....his game is too soft alot of finesse but that game is crap against someone like ma lin or timo...
maybe us players wouldnt but ilije lupulesku is a yugoslav player, and he doesnt play now as much as he used to play. he just enjoys table tennis and works for killerspin company, he represents them. he was very good player 20 years ago. much better than filimon
Lupulescu is Romanian, he is from Uzdin (Banat, Serbia). Uzdin is a small town populated 99% with romanians.
