maybe any questions should be directed at H&M Motorsports since theyre the ones who built 99% of this truck, NOT outlaw..
i even asked when they showed it off at offroad expo, 'who built it' -- 'oh it was a joint effort with H&M and us' -- 'what did u guys do?' -- 'oh we finished up the wiring and other stuff" HAHAHA
H&M ftw!! still a totally badass truck(i wanna see it rape the 1400 class lol), just think credit is due tho..
I remeber this truck. I was around for the build of this so i guess i could help settle all the questions on here. This is a fully customized tubed prerunner/1450 race car. We welded a sheet metal cab to the cabin of the truck to make it class 1400 legal in case Outlaw Offroad had plans to race. When it left our shop it was running 37" Mud Terrain Toyos, but they may have changed it now. Its definitely no cheap prerunner/Trophy Truck lets put it that way!
@laxdogg230:27 looks like BFG Mud Terrains, so i figured generally 33"+ run about 170-225 per tire, and a decent beadlock rim is only 250-400 per, if your paying more your getting ripped off. and BFG BAJA T/A's are about 650 per tire, custom cuts are the ONLY thing i could see paying 800 per tire. Coilovers, Dual rate with a nice piggy would run about 630 per. bump stops and mounts are about 125-200. and the most difficult part sbout building these is the geometry and quality welds/material.
@Hellionzk dude your trippin. if hes running bfg projects its close to a grand per tire. This particular truck isnt though. Im not sure what tires they are but id wouldnt be suprised at a $800+ price tag. Now for rims, id guess anywhere from 500 to 1000 per rim so just with the 6 tires and 6 rims you could be looking at close to 12000. Then Coilovers and shocks and bumpstops and countless hours of fabrication to build the roll cage, tube chassis, bedcage, and suspension components.
@saintleoman13 to put it simply, For just an idea, Each of the 6 tires including rim probably cost 800 a piece. plus 800-1200 per corner just in shocks and coilsovers.......
