Soulja Boy interview: "I'm far back from ignorant"

While backstage during a recent appearance on 106 & Park, Soulja Boy revealed he plans to take aim at the streets with the help of DJ Drama and an upcoming "Gangsta Grillz" mixtape. "Well right now, Im finishing up [the tape] with DJ Drama," Soulja Boy said. "I got Gucci Mane, OJ [Da Juiceman], Shawty Lo — just keeping it connected and real heavy in the streets. What took me so long to put it out In related news, Soulja Boy made headlines when he said "Shout out to the slave masters! Without them we'd still be in Africa. We wouldn't be here to get this ice and tattoos," during a pre-BET Hip-Hop Awards event last year. The 18-year-old highschool drop out addressed this event saying "Im far from ignorant. I made my first million dollars when I was 16 years old. Its the success that Ive accomplished in my 18 years of being here, Im pretty sure my critics are twice my age and got half the money I got."
