  • On page 35 of his book “Not Without HOPE”, sole survivor of the Marquis Cooper (601-07-4024) boating party, Nick Schuyler, writes: “It wasn’t like ayone had been pounding beers all day—not in this weather. Corey didn’t drink.” Forever linked by the small fraternity of NFL players, the Cooper boating party departed Clearwater Pass, FL on the 64th birthday of NFL DE Charles AARON “BUBBA” Smith (b. 2/28/45 in Beaumont, TX). This comment is posting 8/4/11—the day after Smith’s death in Los Angeles

Sadly, it was for “Melrose Place” actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer (b. 12/19/71 in TRENTON, NJ) of HOPEwell, NJ, charged with aggravated manslaughter in the June 2010 death of 60-year-old Helene Seeman (082-38-3191)

  • On 8/04/11, the Florida Crime Information Center Public Access System has missing person listings for March 2009 boating party: Marquis Cooper (case # CW09-20342), William WARD Bleakley (CW09-20342) and Corey Smith (CW09-20342)—despite their being declared dead by family members. With their bodies never recovered, Clearwater, FL PD is listed as reporting agency. Is this standard practice for people lost at sea and presumed drowned? A search for some movie-type foul play revelation? Enlighten me.
