I don't think Nerf Herder did copy this as if you were a musician you would understand it's a pretty basic progression that LOADS of bands have used. I wrote something similar YEARS AGO when listening to "Ride the Lightning" by Metallica. If you ask me just a total coincidence!

Yes, quiet a nice German/Austrian! Always cuddling babies and always waving his right arm to everyone passing by. And all his little toy soldiers clicking their heels for him and wearing helmets that made Darth Vader possible. And the man liked dogs, too! How can you dislike such a man ? ;-)

And yes, it's a joke. Hitler has been dead for over 60 years, you never knew him personally, and you see him as a monster because others told you to do so.

ok i can see that it has the soul of buffy the vampire slayer theme but not exactly copied i dont think that nerf herder need to copy anything ...........& Buffy theme is so much alive....
