5. Mechanical damage is propagated by shockwaves and shrapnel. In fact tsunamis and shockwaves share common traits, they are densely packed waves in space and time. The shockwave is the primary deadly aspect of explosive. But in space there is no medium to transmit mechanical energy, so talking kilotons is pointless.

6. Heat promotes a chemical reaction but this is not "chemical damage" since the initiator was energy and not chemical.
