"Nuclear Power is the safest way"

"Take the controls off the banking system"
"The free market will take care of the medical system"
We have witnessed the catastrophic overt failure of conservative philosophy - as it brought the world to the edge of total financial collapse. Holding on to the past is inappropriate and shows that the basis of it all is FEAR. The future rocks. Embrace it and prosper.

Completely Agree!
Capatalism was founded on the philosophy of From one comes Many... Meaning You make a buck go ahead and do more so that we can always make more. Conserving rather than remaking and then reproducing is and always will be best.

If the majority of the population was to suddenly be able to go electric, it would put incredible strain on our power grid, which is primarily coal fired. Imagine the outcries of carbon emissions and possible blackouts. These technologies really do need to slowly phase in. However, this is very cool and I'm all about new tech.

Mind you Luvanicebum, they're ideal for using up the wasted power at night, where the power stations have to stay on line, but the demand is next to nothing.

You can sense the demand on the grid from your home, so you could also make intelligent chargers that reduced demand during the brief peaks during add breaks etc... so they could be managed to make the grid much more efficient on a mass market scale, improving the useful electricity for the same about of carbon burnt.
