hero mode?

very impressive, old friend :)

First he looked like a vampire, then a monster from tron. Wow, what a freak!
-
Yep, thanks to you fine gentlemen I have this guy under 45 seconds now. Cheers!

In phase 3, attack to spin, then attack is fastest overall but very easy to mess up. Spin to spin is safer but a little slower...
Ideal benchmarks are probably something like 28/37/45 for a high quality fight. Gonna work on a vid of this soon.

It doesn't save as much time as you think, BUT backflipping off the edge after landing the fatal blow saves a second each time. It looks like more than that, but your position is weaker after respawning than waiting next to prone Ghirahim. I managed low decimal 28 by doing this...
In phase two, trigger his first attack (by stabbing). If you don't get his skyward strike afterward, knock the sword out and charge your own to end the phase.

Genius.
Oh, and is shieldbashing quicker than knocking the sword out of Ghirahim's hand in the 2nd phase?

@KholdStare3 I think making him attack you in second phase first to get shield bash and one hit then Charge skyward strike and shield bash his move, take a step back so your next stab is a beam hit which paralyzes him for multiple hits.
As for the 3rd phase, i quickly realized two spin attacks are much faster to shatter his blade.

@SP3Nayias Oh, the Skyward Strike to paralyze him really does finishes him off quicker. Never thought about spin attacking to shatter his blade as well, lol. Thanks for sharing more information about it. :]

@KholdStare3 The only problem with him in 2nd phase is he can be a bit random after the first stab on his chest. If he creates the red things instead of charging a Skyward Strike, then it kind of messes up the best potential run. But if you Skyward Strike stab him for multiple hits first then all you'd have to do on the second part is stab so he'll counter giving you a bash then stab opportunity to go to phase 3. I recommend that.

When you push Ghirahim down in his first phase, you can forward jump before his falling cutscene to be right next to him for a quicker Fatal Blow. Might save a second or 2 in all, but still. :L

@KholdStare3 Thanks for the Info. If I can get as good as run as my 54 second record, that could be greatly useful. The best I've seen of the first phase is 30 second on the last dive stab. but this could make a good 27 first phase. :p
