he's an awesome player,and a really cool person.i saw him in the parking lot of a venue in raliegh @1996 venus isle tour,he talked to me for 8 or 10 minutes,and was as regular and humble as could be.he is genuine.cgp#2

Yeah, I used to play guitar. Give it up each and every time I watch another EJ video. OMG. Nothing comes close.

his voice was good; in fact i think it was better than his older recordings in the early 90s; his voice had a deeper, raspier quality ; when i first heard him sing about twenty years ago, i immediately disliked it and thought he should just stick to playing, but at this show i was pleasantly surprised by his vocals

I was at this show as well. I saw a few people being busted with their phones recording. So glad you didn't. I would love to see a video of Eric doing the Joni Mitchell tune on the piano. I thought his voice was also better than ever that night. What a great show!!! Thanks for the post.
