Hey! i have the same cam, and i you think that was cheap, mine was less than 15 pounds (currency converted, i'm from Mèxico) is the same shape, same quality but it doesnt have any brand ,the box only says "Mini DV" and the structions book is all in chinese, so, an advice, chek the unbranded cam and save a lot more money ;)

just got one of these and was not impressed at all. Cant figger out how to stop recording. The sounds is uter rubbish. The picture is apolling keeps shifting all the time. OK i got it working proper its OK buy it guys.....

how to do you record? I have this item and im trying to record. I switch it on and there is a green light and it goes slowly though does not record. I wander what is happening..

Is it normal for the MUVI to lose it's charge when not in use? Whenever I take it out the drawer for spontaneous recording...it's flat!!

@sharonshinwell I think most batteries degrade over time. Depends on the timescale I suppose. It could be a valid expectation after months. but it wouldn't after weeks...
