just bought a 4s of some dork for 50 bucks cause he dropped it in the sink... riced that bitch 3 days in a ziplock (suck all the air out) and boom NEW iphone thanks

Dropped my iPod Touch 2nd generation in the toilet and took it out, only lasted a second literally. and then put it in jar of rice for two days, and turned it on and still works! :D 1st day the touch screen did not respond, but second day (just now) tried it and thank GOD still works! soo glad. But there are still water marks inside of the screen and it is a bit dimmer, who just happy it works normally :)

dropped my phone in the toilet bowl last night. worst feeling ever. opened up a bag of rice and place to my phone in it. took it out today and tried to turn my phone on, it worked but only on some sort of startup screen I have never seen before. played with it for the next hour or so, finally started to work but the colors were darker. lookS like shit but I was happy to get it working again. I continue to mess around with my phone and I guess the heat dissipated the water. back to normal!

i drop my phone in the toilet took it aprt used the rice method last nite and toook it out just now and it works also drying it out before u put it in rice helps

This fixed my iPhone when water got into the speaker. Left it in for about 3 hours and it works perfectly. I taught this trick to my co-worker who dropped her phone in water in the beginning of her 6 hour shift, within 4 hours, it worked. The look on her face was priceless.
