This is a short video of how I train for maximizing your bench press. Your mileage may vary. Chest training 2x per week. Chest A: Benchpress: triples, doubles and singles at 95% of max. Then high reps with dumbbell incline (15-20 reps). Chest B: moderate benchpress: 10s, 8s, 6s for sets. then incline barbell, 10s, 8s, 6s. Then heavy dips 2, 3, 4 plates. Flyes once or twice a week.

Also kick off every triceps work-out with heavy narrow grip triceps bench presses for added triceps strength (much of the bench press lockout involves triceps strength)

  • Good job broda! Over 2x Raw drug free body weight bench CLUB :] My lil brother just got there as well Same weight as you 150lbs He beched 300, im as well in the club :]

  • @BeastBodyBuilding Awesome.

  • isnt it bad to arch your back?

  • @johndifrancesco I'm not that experienced in powerlifting, but without a significant back arch you will employ more shoulders, less triceps, and less chest. Most guys with no arch get stuck at a 200lb bench. If it is controlled I think it is pretty crucial. Check out EliteFTs.com for pro tips.

  • Can i ask how tall you are? cus you have done amazing to say your only 150lb .. Peace

  • @Whatton24 5'5" bro I didn't get the height gene.

  • I liked the thought behind the video - but at 1:05, do you think he could have put his legs into that press a little more?

  • @fighthard13 I understand he must put much dedication into his training. I just didn't understand how he just looks so much bigger without weighing that much more! that left me feeling a little confused. When i get older im going to get much more serious into weightlifting too

  • @RinkB4ThePink its called a lifetime of lifting im right around this body type, i mean before getting all massive and ripped lol but it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to work up to looking and performing like him. trust me i work at it everyday to get better stronger faster and more athletic.

  • I'm not trying to chirp but I'm a 16 year old kid and I'm 5 foot 6. I weight 142 with very low body fat as I play aaa hockey. I just wondered how your arms look massive (mine are in no comparison) yet you only have 8 pounds on me. Do you do any leg workouts at all? because I think that is where most of my weight is. or different densities of bones or anything? I'm just curious how you can look so much bigger.

  • Another lifter with his ass way off bench thinking he is lifting weight?!

  • How did I get here from Dexter...

  • Dang man, unbelievable! 149 and 325...that's not human.

  • Dude...you are my idol, i thought i was strong by getting 235 at 130 body weight, any tips for me? and by the way im only 17 and im trying to be the strongest pound for pound kid in school, ya know, to stand up for the little guy
