This is what causes traffic jams

Filmed Thursday, 15th September, 2011, at around 16:45 in Farnham town centre.

Call me petty, but there is no reason for jams like this to happen, I may only have wasted 5 minutes, but then so did everybody else, and there must have been 50 or 60 cars in this jam. When you consider that should an emergency vehicle need to get through precious time could be lost, and all because some van driver couldn't be bothered to park better, or somewhere out of the way.

Well in Farnham it seems to be not the done thing to park in the car parks, even though by Waverley standards they are pretty reasonable. Godalming town centre is similarly afflicted. Still makes me laugh when people get tickets and seem totally unaware that they can't park there. The big sign saying "no traffic in High Street use car parks" obvlously not big enough for them.
