@daywalkerr32 Hey, I can't find the post on the vwvortex forums, can you message me a link?
Thanks

how much does it cost get non resonated and a flapper mod
-
well the exhaust is stock. so you have to look around forums to find a used R32 exhaust. As for the difference between a resonated and non resonated exhaust, the one that has the resonator taken out(non-resonated) will be more louder as opposed to the one with the resonator on, which is more quieter.

Waaaw! That is awesome!
Where can I find an exhaust like that?
And what is the difference between a stock exhaust that is resonated or non resonated?
Grtz

Is this a stock exhaust with just the flapper mod installed?

did you simply swap out the exhaust outlets? I have an R32 as well and those are not stock tips. If so are they easy to swap? I have wanted to get more aggressive-looking outlets (possibly Milltek style) without replacing the perfectly good stock exhaust.

Yes swapped the tips and they oem tips have to be cut off and new tips welded in place

is the flapper kinda like an electric cutout?

Hey sorry for taking so long to respond been away for awhile. But it is a stock exhaust non resonated. The flapper is an electric actuator that is opened by a pump based on the RPMs to basically keep the car quite while cruising around and it opens up at highway speeds. I added a switch to open and close mine.
