California bass would turn away from that crack worm in a heartbeat lol completely un natural... right on for checking out lures in a fish tank though.. always fun.
@DeadSea000 Bass are over-rated. Salt water fishing is the only fishing that interests me. whats the fun in targeting one species of fish, all day, everyday, sounds boring.
using live bait isnt fishin, feeding fish the food he eats on a daily basis.
thats boring! no skill.
tricking a well educated bass (big ones) into eating a lure, thats real fishin. takes skill to catch these bass year round.
I fish a million different baits & techniques, it never gets old.
Huh, you think, I fish a 13 inch worm on an 11/0 hook, drop shotting with a 1/2 oz drop shot weight tied with a mojo bungie , your suppose to let him chomp it a few times or swim away with it before ya set the hook. Try it, you will catch a big bass!
I held this up to my fish tank and my bass flipped out. I just held my iPod up to the glass
