this is the first time i have heard the song chinese democracy.
to be honest, its got an interesting sound and can get catchy after a while. i was expecting it to be less than good, but i was somewhat surprised. however, its not something i would go out of my way to buy on itunes or amazon.

GNR was the only band that slash joined later- snakepit and Velvet Revolver were HIS bands that he started. he hand-picked the frontman both times and then publicly insulted them later after fueding with them always refusing any blame for himself of course.
read his latest Classic Rock interview comparing Scott Weiland to george bush and saying that he couldnt wait till scott was gone.
as for "unrecognizably better", both snakepit and VR were unimpressive and generic to me.

"temporary comfort"? like i said not working when you're ill is a basic human right. his illness is not an "insult" to anybody else.
i doubt that you didnt receive your money back if the show was cancelled because that would have lead to lawsuits.

It seems to be more than simple coincidence however, that whatever band Slash joins instantly becomes unrecognizably better.

The point I was making was that he put his own temporary comfort before his fans. Any respectable person would see just what everyone who had attended had spent, and made the minimal personal sacrifice to ensure that those fans weren't in essence cheated out of their money.
