  • I am not a medical professional, but I found this lecture impressive. If this doctor's theories are confirmed (she is having success in treating her patients} she should be nominated for a Nobel Prize in medicine, in my opinion.

  • I had a vitamin D blood level of 13 when I was diagnosed with severe OSA. Now I take vitamin D supplements of 5,000 IU/day, my blood level is around 60 or so, and my AHI is less than 2 thanks to my CPAP. Did vitamin D cure my sleep apnea or was it my mask? Maybe both. When you have two things effective at treating and improving health, why not do both?

  • Other fun things about my OSA: I never knew I had OSA until I had a significant other stay the night in bed and tell me I was actually making a gagging motion in my sleep. I felt the way I felt then, but only now when I look back can I say I probably had chronic fatigue. Its hard to see where you are when you've been there so long.

  • I was Dr. Gominak's patient from 1996-2000 and only left her when I relocated. I love this woman. She treated me for epilepsy (lol - hence my screen name) but after moving I was diagnosed with apnea and have worn a cpap mask for 11 yrs. I've only watched half of this first video, but I connect with it. I don't think it helps my seizures, but the first study with the mask I felt I had never slept before.

I think the seizures are returning. Just hearing her voice relaxes me. Thank you Dr. Gominak.

  • sense! I am usually quite an outdoorsy kind of person but now am definitely going to try and become a very outdoorsy person. I am now grateful for my fair complexion as it does not require me to be exposed to the sun for very long to still achieve a decent intake of "Vitamin" D. P.S. If you've taken the time to read this whole comment: GET OUTSIDE IN THE SUN'S GLORIOUS RAYS!, unless it's night time in which case: GET TO BED AND SLEEP! Thank you Doctor Stasha Dominac.

  • This is amazing and has given me a new lease of life! I am so grateful for this information as I am a healthy young man of nineteen years and have been recently unwell, unable to sleep, rarely going out and therefore glued to my Xbox! I thought I might have been not feeling great because of a virus I picked up playing football in the cold (night) but apart from a few trips to town I have rarely been out during the day. I think this information in breathtaking yet so simple and makes a hundred p
