Summary for this episode (part 1):

Natalie is readying a book by Pushkin and she doesnt notice prince Alexander and Zhukovsky. Alexander asks her if she will take part on tonights event. Natalie says she will. Zhukovsky thinks that Alexander loves Natalie, but the prince tells him that they are just pretending because tsar Nikolai wanted Natasha to be one of his lovers.
Vladimir asks Varya about Modestovich and admits that he doesnt know if he is pretending to be amnesic or he really lost his memory. Vladimir also asks Polina about Modestovich and she says she doesnt like this situation.
Misha compliments Anna, but she is not impressed. Mikhail tells Anna that to him, she is the most noble woman. Anna thought Misha put there a rose for her, but it seems that is was Vladimir; Anna is pretty disappointed.
