Air New Zealand requested that Boeing use a dramatically unique paint scheme for its new Boeing 777-300ER. Like the uniforms of the All Blacks rugby champions it honors, the airplane sports an all-black livery. Found out more at http://theflyingsocialnetwork.com/archives/859
it shouldnt affect it at all as the paint thickness is the same so the weight should be exactly the same and have limited or no affect on the planes performance ther than heat limits as it will absorb more energy from the sun.
@SonicbusterX2000 the lights on it do help.

Does this add a lot of weight to the aircraft? How does this affect fuel burn?

We are not into rugby at all, but the planes look awesome, not likely to see them in our airport in Napier New Zealand, to small.
