@sharkinfested Thank You for your comment. As an Australian whose family has been involved in WWI WWII and Vietnam it sometimes causes resentment here in Australia when American Documentaries imply that the US fought these and other wars all on their own. In terms of numbers our contribution may be relatively small, but Australian forces have often been crucial to the outcome. It is a little known fact outside Aus. that our forces were the first to stop the Japanese advance anywhere in 1942.

I love this series. As an American it gives me a glimpse of what the war was like from our allies points of view. American documentaries only focus on our servicemen and their struggles - a few even show the German and Japanese side of the war, but I haven't seen anything like this series. It's wonderful.
