  • I fought in Iwo Jima and many other pacific campaigns. Do not say that i am to old for youtube. I want to say that i salute the U.S. and allied forces around the world(notice i do not say the middle east) and the middle east. so i know what their going through. God bless the USA and Allies countries including the oppresed in areas such as Lebanon,Turkey and many other countries.

  • this is the best WWII movie evr besides Band of Brothers and it is acurate. We should honor the men who died that day and every day after that. They did this so we could live here, free, today.

  • @Fleur114 I am somewhat insulted by that. Canada and Britian also were there and without us D-Day would of been lost. You remember the bloodiest battles not the most strategical.

  • @UnitedNations0 thank you for your service to our republic. thank you for enduring such danger and hardships for us. my dad fought in the south pacific. new guine(?), tulagi , and many others and was wounded on tarawa on the second day. my generation, i am 64 yeard old, owe our very being to you guy's and gals of your generation, the greatest generation. i did my time in south vietnam in 1967 and 1968 fighting the commies.you guy's are all heroes in my book. thank you and welcome home.

  • Man you could at least have put in the effort to use the right "their" in a serious WW2 tribute =_=... ruined it for me.

  • @UnitedNations0

    I salute you.

  • @Fleur114 What about the British?

  • i'd rather accept death than kill an innocent women or child

  • If you refused to fight then you were killed in germany... so it was hard to rebel

  • I'm glad that they showed the United States and the French flag in this video. Those were the 2 countries that fought the Germans at D-day.

  • It wasn't that easy. You were forced to be a nazi or you would be Killed. Some people did escape but very few did. The rest that tried to escape but did not, were put in prison or shot. If you were a guy and lived in Germany during WW2 and you were told to be a nazi, would you accept or be killed?

  • i wouldn't give a damn id do what was right and at least die trying and have my family go into hiding, are you telling me youd do what you were told no matter how immoral under the threat of death
